The "symphony" in the photograph's title refers to the all enveloping sound of crashing water in close proximity to the waterfall. Absolutely no other sound penetrates it, which is oddly disorienting when combined with dizzying heights.

This photograph above shows a different view of a waterfall that I have photographed and posted on this website twice before. The previous photographs featured the broken rocks at the crest of the falls. I also wanted to show the face of the waterfall, but a conventional view can only be had from about 2.2 km (1.4 miles) away. Getting closer to the waterfall's base is impossible, at least for me, due to the extremely rugged, steep, and trailless terrain.

The only other possibility was a view looking down the 200 meter (656 foot) vertical column of falling water. The thought popped into my head for a millisecond or two on previous visits, but the physical situation made it seem too ridiculous to consider.

As an aside, this waterfall is also shown in the above photograph. It's near the left edge about a quarter of the way down from the top.
