Early Snow, Teton Range
An early snow storm cloaks Wyoming's Teton range in white while fall color is
still at its peak. The nearly pristine ecosystem of Grand Teton National Park still supports many species of flora and fauna that existed there in prehistoric
times. A blanket of new snow and closure of the park due to a lack of government
funding made a particularly peaceful setting on the morning this image was
captured.
