Whitehorse Falls, 1995, Umpqua National Forest, Oregon

Whitehorse Falls was a small but scenic 15 foot (4.6 m) waterfall on the
Clearwater River. The moist forest environment allowed moss and other vegetation
to grow everywhere, creating a lush green setting in 1995. By
2006 thousands of thoughtless people and
their trampling feet had drastically changed the area, eliminating most of the
vegetation seen in this photograph. By 2013
the situation was far worse. Sadly, there is no point in going here again.
