Mount Moran, Autumn Storm, Grand Teton National Park

This photograph shows Wyoming's Mount Moran under an approaching autumn storm. Named for frontier landscape artist Thomas Moran, the mountain stands 12,610 feet (3840 m) high and dominates the northern section of the Teton Range.
