Mount Adams, Head in the Clouds, Washington
This view of Mount Adams was photographed on a beautiful but unsettled morning
from a vantage point on Mount Rainier. Mount Adams is about fifty miles distant
and has a summit elevation of 12,276 feet, the second highest in the state of
Washington. Both Mount Adams and Mount Rainier are potentially active volcanoes.
