Dinner by the Snake River, Cow Moose
This
photograph shows a cow moose (Oreamnos americanus) eating acquatic vegetation in Wyoming's Snake River. Moose are semi-aquatic, wading to feed on aquatic plants and willows in summer. They are excellent swimmwes, often swimming across rivers and lakes. Moose are large and fast animals that can be aggressive when disturbed.
