Grand Canyon and Colorado River, Morning Twilight

Sometimes clouds and moisture in the air act as both a diffuser and reflector of warm sunrise light. This photograph was captured on such a morning. Clouds in all directions displayed vivid sunrise colors and reflected a shadowless glow deep into the Grand Canyon before the first rays of direct sunlight touched the horizon. It doesn't last long but seeing it is a wonderful experience.
