Fantasy Dunes

While exploring the backcountry of America's desert southwest I came upon the brightest orange sand dunes I have ever seen. The deep color of the sand is intensified by the moisture from a light rain that stopped just minutes earlier. I waited perhaps 20 minutes for moving clouds to allow sunlight to hit the dunes to accentuate their texture before capturing the picture.
